HINSDALE CENTRAL HOCKEY CLUB

Hinsdale Central Hockey Club is an Illinois Not-for-Profit, 501(c)3 organization, which operates independent of Hinsdale Central High School. Founded in 1972, the HCHC is a parent-run organization dedicated to player and character development consistent with our decades-long history rich in tradition and reputation.

The Hinsdale Central Hockey Club was founded in 1972, by newly arrived Hinsdale resident, F. Regis Kenna. Plans were made to form a club organization typical for the period and today, an organization independent of the high school. Coaches were hired to hold tryouts, assess talent and train the athletes. Tryouts were announced and produced a much higher than expected turnout, enough talented players to form both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, and a parent run organization staffed by independent coaches dedicated to player development came to life.
